Very Important Bird, or VIB, is a game pass in Feather Family. It can be purchased here.
Ownership of this game pass gives its perks in both Feather Family and Feather Family Classic, due to VIB’s existence in the 2018 version of the game.
Overview
VIB is a game pass in Feather Family which costs 300 Robux and was the first game pass ever added. Unlike the Phoenix, Cockatrice, Peryton and Griffin, this game pass does not unlock a bird but rather unlocks features that affect all birds. It is the cheapest of the five game passes.
Benefits
Advanced Character Creator
One notable thing about the game pass is how it unlocks a lot more customization options. It unlocks all but four Textures and all but four Effects (The excluded textures being free, and the excluded effects being from off sale Shirts.) which can be added onto birds. Some examples of Textures unlocked with this include Neon, Plastic, Metal and Plush. Some examples of Effects unlocked with this are Leaf, Sparkles, Fire and Lightning (See character creator to see all). All of these can be applied to any bird.
Name tag

VIB members will have their username above them colored yellow with "[VIB]" next to the username. This doesn't do much, and mainly just serves as proof that you purchased the game pass.
Radio
Members also have the ability to use the radio. The radio works like the ROBLOX radio gears, requiring the ID number from the music's link on the ROBLOX website. For example, to play this song, you'd have to type the song ID (number between the library and title parts of the link, in this case being 2133090502). The music's pitch and speed can be adjusted, as well as the ability to toggle echoing effects on the music. Other players can hear music played, but turning radios off in the sound part of the Settings mutes all radios but their own to the player.
Nest Customization
Both the player's nest and the flock nest of a player's flock are able to be customized if they have VIB. The nests can come in four textures, the first being the default texture for nests as well as various colors. VIB players have the inability to change the nests of other players or of flocks they don't own.
Roleplay Server Hosting
Players with VIB and a private server are able to host their private server for other players to play. Hosted private servers can have their spawn location, allowed birds, title and description set. This was added for VIB players in the Peryton update and prior was available to all private server owners (with private servers costing Robux at the time).
Trivia
- This was the first and only game pass until the phoenix was added.
- This is the only game pass which doesn't unlock a bird.
- This is the only game pass to have an effect on Feather Family Classic.
- VIB players are often seen using the Neon texture and/or one of the three game pass birds.
- This game pass and being a member of The Feather Family are the only publicly-available things that can change what's labelled on your name tag.
- The music feature used to have its own cloud on the bottom of the screen like most primary mechanics, but got a unique button in an update.
