Peafowl is a playable bird in Feather Family.

Appearance

Chick

The chick is primarily orange, with a cream underbelly starting at its face and ending on its belly. It also has a cream pattern on its face with orange cheeks. It has brown wings with four large, darker in color feathers and a tail fan of the same color. It has long legs each ending in 4 toes with 3 in the front and 1 in the back as well as a pink beak.

Adult

Peahen

The female has more "natural" colors compared to the male. The head is reddish-orange with a white pattern on the bottom half of her head and cheeks, as well as a crest of the same orange tone and a grey beak. Her neck has two separate shades of green- light at the top and darker at the bottom. She has a large, round torso with beige feathers and a white underbelly. Her wings have round, dark brown and green flight feathers. Her tail consists of two separate fans, one beige and the other brown. She has light brown legs with darker talons.

Peacock

The male is mostly a royal blue, including its back, neck, crest and the top of his head. His face is black with a white pattern on his cheeks and a grey beak. He has a dark green underbelly with white thighs. The base of his tail and his bottom tail fan is also white. He has reddish and black flight feathers. His most notable feature is his large tail which is built with 2D images of a peacock feather with a cyan base and neon green circles.

Chick

• Run - Increases walking speed. Speeds up walk cycle.

• Sit - Puts chick in a sitting position. Unable to move while sitting.

• Hurt - Chick lays on its side with head bent above its body.

Adult

• Run - Increases walking speed. Speeds up walk cycle.
• Call - Peacock chirps. The sound of the call depends on the gender.
• Sit - Sits down.
• Eat - Pecks the ground.
• Hurt - Lays on its stomach with wings slightly spread on the ground.
• Display - Peacock opens its tail fan and slightly shakes it, peahen opens tail fans but moves more slower pace.
• Preen - Peacock pecks the smaller fan on its back to clean, peahean pecks the same spot on her back as the male.
• Eyes- Close or open eyes of both genders.
• Fly - Allows the peacock to take flight for a short amount of time.

Trivia

• This is the first bird to be added as an unlockable.
• Prior to its remodel, the Peafowl costed 25 Feathers.
• Prior to its remodel, the chick had a part on the head that couldn't be colored.
• Prior to its remodel, the peacock had white markings on its face and feathers underneath its tail that couldn't be colored.
• Until Summer of Fossils 2020, Peafowl was the only unlockable with limited flight stamina.
• Due to it being built with decals, the tail feathers aren't affected by changing the material of the peafowl.
• There is a bug which makes the display feathers of the peacock invisible on the menu screen.
• There is a glitch with the peacock's display which makes the display feathers clip through the wings.
• In the customization interface, the Peacock's tail fan can't be fully seen regardless of how far you zoom out.
• Peafowl is the first and only bird remodeled in 2021 to have no calls changed or added.
