Forest is a biome in Feather Family.

Overview[]

The forest is one of Feather Family’s first and most iconic biomes. It is a very large biome connecting to the Volcano, Beach, Desert and Village. This area is frequently used as the game’s default spawn and has its own roleplay server.

Appearance[]

The forest has plenty of trees, ferns, tree stumps, bushes and lakes, and even a small mountain. Near the teleportation spot there's a circle of water with a large tree in the middle. There's also a few caves that glow green, one of which being the previous hatchery spawn. There's traces of human presence (likely because the forest is connected to the village) like birdhouses, wheelbarrows and cut down trees.

Notable Structures[]

Crystal Circle[]

Like most biomes, the forest also has a circle of crystals. Here, the smaller crystals appear to be tall rocks, with the bigger crystal in the middle being green. The Magic Tree for the forest is found under this structure.

House[]

There's a singular house with chicken coops and bird feeders. A similar house can be found in other biomes.

Tents[]

There's a camping spot not far from the spawn. It has two tents in it, with a campfire and three logs around it. There's also a park table with multiple fish on it.

Lake[]

The lake is a large patch of water. It's near grassy terrain and a waterfall which is an entrance to Beach's magic tree.

River[]

The river is a large stretch of water that extends from the pond in the spawn area to the lake near the beach.

Secrets[]

Magic Tree[]

The tree can be found in the Forest's tunnels around the biome near the spawn, behind the house. It is dark green, with water around it. It has green crystals and mushrooms around it.

Trivia[]

  • Forest is one of the four biomes assigned as a gamepass bird spawn, the others being Volcano, Fantasy Field, and Skylands.
  • Forest may be the only biome with two magic trees, as it shares one with the beach. However, the shared tree is themed around the beach rather than the Forest, as it is blue with water around it and a blue forcefield.
  • Forest is used as the standard spawn location quite a lot.
  • In the Eagle remodel update, hollows were added into the Seqouia trees.
