Flamingo is a playable bird in Feather Family. It received a remodel on June 18th, 2021.

Appearance

Chick

The chick is entirely white with only one grey patch going from one eye to the other. It has pink legs with webbed feet and a pink beak.

Adult

The adult is bright pink with black flight feathers. Its tail fan and patch around its eyes are slightly lighter in color. It has salmon pink legs with webbed feet. Its beak is mostly pink with a black tip.

Adult

• Eat - Bends down, moving head back and forth repeatedly.
• Hurt - Lays on its side with legs and neck curled next to it with one wing open over the body.
• Display - Stands on one leg, flapping wings while outstretching neck.
• Preen - Stands on one leg while pecking its left flight feathers.
• Fly - Flamingo takes flight.

Trivia

• There used to be a glitch where if you would use the Hurt emote while walking as the adult Flamingo, you'd still be able to move. This was fixed.
• Upon its remodel, the underbelly of the chick cannot be colored. This issue can be fixed by loading a previously saved color save file from another bird. This will likely be fixed.
• Of all the call changes added with remodels, the change to the adult Flamingo call is the least dramatic, as it's only a change of pitch.
  • Eagle was given the same treatment.
  • Both of these birds can technically have their old calls if scaled up.
