The update is about a new bird and a new area, the new area is located in jungle. Canopy is a rainforest wyvern. He's highly territorial and aggressive. He is an omnivore and eats both the fruits where he lives and hunts things like smaller dragons or birds. He's pretty large and has a deep roar.
Frelon is a crane. She is a travelling merchant that sells various rare flowers. Her beak, legs, and wings look like honey, and she smells like it too. Bees seem peaceful around her. She lives deep in the jungle.

The average FF player will never have this
Offspring are spawnable NPC birds that can be summoned after building a nest. Offspring come in the form of eggs and hatchlings.
As eggs, offspring stay in the center of the owner’s nest and do not move at all. The only action they can do is hatch on the owner’s command, where a crack appears on the egg followed by the hatching animation. It will become the hatchling version of your chosen bird.
As hatchlings, offspring will call as soon as they hatch. By default, they have the ‘Follow Me’ setting on which has them stay behind the player at all times. They will walk when close enough and run when far enough. If too far from their owner, the offspring will teleport to them as soon as the touch the ground. With Follow Me off, the hatchling will…

Feather Family has various kinds of weather with random chances to happen.
Nearly identical, clear skies, partly cloudy and very cloudy are considered the most standard of all weather conditions. The only difference between the three is that clear skies has less clouds obscuring the sky, partly cloudy has some more and very cloudy has the full sky obscured. The sky keeps a standard color during either of these.

Prey animals are wandering NPCs in Feather Family, which serve as usable items once the player interacts with them. All prey animals take the form of non-avian creatures no bigger than birds like Macaw.
- Rats and fish were in the game prior to the prey update as stationary items.
- Fish appear as static items in some areas. The spots listed on this page are only for the NPCs variant.
- Prey items are the only items that change appearance when picked up.
Draft: Cyan Penguin
Cyan Penguin is an NPC in Feather Family, first added in the Raven remodel update standing in the graveyard between Forest and Volcano. Unlike the NPCs before it, the cyan penguin has no connection to Summer of Fossils.

Roleplay Servers, formerly known as Group Servers, are a feature in Feather Family accessible by clicking the server list button near the top right of the screen.
Upon opening the menu for the roleplay servers, a list of servers will be shown. The servers are:

- VIB Server
The first 3 are accessible to every player, the fourth is exclusive to members of The Feather Family and the final server is exclusive to players with the V.I.B. game pass. Each server can hold 60 players and Server 1 tends to be the most crowded server, sometimes reaching max players.
