Auk is a playable bird in Feather Family. It received a remodel on December 25th, 2020.

Appearance

Chick

The chick is a small, chubby bird covered in black across its head, body, thighs and tail. It has a white underside. It has dark brown eyes and a somewhat long gray beak. It has medium gray legs with three toes in front and one toe in the back of each foot.

Adult

The adult is a somewhat small bird with black feathers on its cap, nape, neck, body, wings and upper tail. It has a white face with long orange eyes, each with a black streak extending behind the eye and slightly up from the top, and an orange beak with a gray base. Its underside is white. It has orange legs with webbed feet and three toes in front and one toe in the back of each foot, each with a black talon.

General

• The puffin has a unique ability only shared with the Penguin, Hesperornis, Cockatrice, Cormorant, and Great Auk. While the puffin is quite slow on land and in the air, it is extremely fast in the water. When the puffin is in water, it will trigger a unique swimming animation and its speed will be boosted. Carrying items or birds can make this advanced swimming quite buggy.
• Auk was the cheapest unlockable to t-pose on the menu screen and customization area. All birds wings were folded in the menu screen in the Eagle remodel update.

• This is the first bird remodeled on the exact day of a major holiday.
• The Puffin Auk is the first bird to change its call with a remodel.
• The underbelly of the chick's old model couldn't be colored.
